Admission Policy for UG Courses

Admission in all the UG courses of this Institutes is done on the basis of the admission policy of Technical Education & Skill Development Department of Government of Madhya Pradesh. As per the present policy admission in these courses is being done on the basis of the All India Ranking (AIR) of the candidate in the JEE Examination of that year.

A candidate seeking admission in these courses must have passed 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognised board with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical subject as the third subject. The candidate must have a combined aggregate minimum of 45% marks in these subjects. There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the above requirement in the case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh.

The counselling for admission is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Paresh through the online off-campus procedure. Interested candidates may visit the website www.dtempcounselling.org for details regarding admission rules and counselling process. Normally in the State of Madhya Pradesh counselling process starts in the months of May-June.

Reservation Policy

The Institute follows the reservation policy of the Technical Education & Skill Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from this 5% supernumerary seats are available under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme of AICTE. Further one seat each is reserved for J&K Migrants and J&K Resident category. For details, interested candidates may visit the website www.dtempcounselling.org.

The facility of Lateral Admission in the 3rd semester is available for the Candidates who have passed a regular three year engineering diploma programme examination in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from an Institute/University recognized by AICTE/UGC or from a foreign University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto, with minimum marks of 45 percent OR Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Degree examination from a university recognized by the university grants commission with minimum 45 percent marks and have passed 12th examination with mathematics.

Document Detention Policy

The Institute does not detain any document of the candidate other than the original Transfer Certificate (TC) of the Institutes in which candidate has last studied. At the time of admission, candidates are required to bring all the relevant original documents in support of their eligibility for admission along with their photocopies. The original documents are verified and returned to the candidate on the same day. Refund of fee on Cancellation of Admission If a candidate gets his/her admission of 1st semester cancelled from the university or admission of an ineligible candidate is cancelled by the university, prior to 7 days before the last date of admission, as declared by the University, the tuition fee deposited by the candidate shall be refunded back to the candidate after deducting 10% from the deposited amount. After this date fee deposited by the candidate is not refundable.

Admission Policy for MCA Courses

Admission in the MCA course of this Institutes is done on the basis of admission policy of the Technical Education & Skill Development Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. As per the present policy admission in MCA course is being done based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at (10+2) level or at Graduate level.

Admission Policy for ME Courses

Admission in ME courses of this Institutes is done on the basis valid GATE Scorecard, if the GATE qualified candidates are not available then admission is done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. A candidate seeking admission to ME Courses should have passed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in the appropriate branch with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Excluding Creamy Layer)  of the State of Madhya Pradesh will get a relaxation of 5% as per the norms of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh.

A candidate seeking admission to MBA Course should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category candidates of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration is essential.

(IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a Subject at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level having obtained at least 50% at the qualifying Examination. Criteria for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (Excluding creamy layer) of Madhya Pradesh shall be 45% in the aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
